Orders

Where do we ship?

Currently we ship to Canada and the USA. We are working to add more countries - stay tuned!

Do we offer free shipping ?

Bluebird Aprons offer free shipping to Canada and the USA on all orders over $150 CAD. Please note that this option will not include any tracking information. If you would like to include tracking information, please select your preferred shipping option when you check out.

What payment methods do we accept?

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive ?

Bluebird Aprons are made to order. Please anticipate a 2 - 4 days processing time. If your order requires customization, please allow an additional 5 business days. We use Canada Post as our shipping courier. Canada Post is experiencing some delays and it may take up to 2.5 weeks to arrive.

My order says delivered but I did not receive it. What do I do ?

If you didn't get your item that was marked as delivered, contact your local post office to make sure that your item is not being held for pickup. If not, contact Canada Post and open an investigation, letting them know that your item was not delivered. Email us with your order number, the investigation number and your tracking information. We will then contact Canada Post to continue your investigation. 

Refunds for missing deliveries are provided to us by Canada Post and then to you. This process can unfortunately take some time, and we ask for your patience. We know this can be very frustrating, but we are not in control of packages once they are handed to Canada Post and unfortunately have to base our timeline for refunds on the timeline they provide for us.

Can I make changes to my order ?

Once an order is placed, we cannot make changes due to the customization of each item. However, if you have any concerns, please email us right away at bluebirdaprons@gmail.com.

Can I cancel an order ?

We are not able to cancel an order once it has shipped or if we have already processed your customization. 

What size should I purchase ?

We have four sizes that we hope will cover (pun intended 😊) most people – from toddlers, kids, teenagers and adults!

Our Toddler size fits kids from 2-years old up to a small 5-year old. The toddlers you see on the website range in age, and heights from 2’ to 3’ tall.

Our Youth size fits kids from 5-years old up to 9-years old. The kids you see on the website that are shown wearing this size apron range in age, and heights from 3.5’ to 4.5’ tall.

All kids grow at their own rate so we don’t want to be too age specific about what can fit.

We also now offer extended sizing on our adult apron. If it perfect for individuals who are size 14+ or someone who wants their apron to be roomy. 

If you have any other questions regarding the sizing, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will do our best to make sure you are purchasing the correct size!

Do you offer other colours?

If you are looking for a specific colour for any of our products, please let us know and we will make sure we consider adding it in the future!

Why does the extended size adult apron priced higher ?

When determining our prices, the bulk of the cost is from the linen fabric. Our aprons are made out of a high quality linen fabric, so if we use more fabric, the cost will go up slightly as well. 

The site says you don't deliver to my area. What do I do?

If you get a notice that we don't deliver to your area, please send us an email or direct message through social media. We also suggest trying a different browser or clearing your internet cache and trying again. If that does not work, contact us and we will help you out!

Are there customs / duties added to the purchase?

Taxes have been applied to any orders placed within Canada.  Otherwise, we do not apply taxes on orders from other countries. For other countries, customs/duties are often applied once the delivery reaches its destination, and any such fees must be paid by the addressee. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges and cannot foresee what the relating costs might be as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. If in doubt, we recommend contacting your local customs office for more information before placing an order. 

 

Returns & Exchanges

Do you offer exchanges or returns ?

If you’re not 100% satisfied with your purchase we will gladly exchange it for another item. Exchanges can be made within 30 days of delivery.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on any customized orders.

We do not cover shipping costs for items that are being exchanged unless they are defective. Please reach out to bluebird.aprons@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns about your order and we will do our best to work with you to find the best solution.

Sustainability

What are our sustainability practices ?

Although we try to find the best material to use, we are always looking for ways to improve our carbon footprint. Please drop us a suggestion of how we can do better!

  • 100% Recycled Tissue Paper

  • 88% Recycled Poly-mailer that is 100% Recyclable

  • Polybags can be recycled in most Municipalities and Townships

Please always check your local guidelines for recycling, organics and garbage to ensure all materials are disposed of in an appropriate manner.

 

Bulk Orders

Do you offer bulk orders ?

Yes, we do ! If you are looking to purchase a bulk order for your company, restaurant, kids party, or whatever else - let us know ! Send us an email and we will be glad to work with you to get the best options for your event.
