Fall Crafts for Kids (+ Free Printables!)

Here in Ontario, we’re in for some cold and rainy weather over these next few weeks, and it can be hard to keep kids entertained when they have to be cooped up in the house all day.

Of course, there’s always technology, but one of the nicest things about this time of year is how the world seems to slow down for a few, precious moments before the holidays begin again in full swing.

Why not take advantage of this time together and try a couple of our fall activities for kids (complete with three free printables!)

Fall Inspired Play-Doughs

Play-Dough is always a hit, and homemade Play-Dough is even better! Some of our favourite bloggers have incredible recipes that are as fun to make as they are to play with. Even better? Unlike store-bought Play-Dough, this stuff smells AMAZING.

Here are three of our favourite fall-inspired doughs that smell good enough to eat (probably best not to taste test though).

  2. Maple by The Best Ideas for Kids

  3. Pumpkin Pie by Happiness is Homemade

Farm Fresh Prints

What’s cuter than your kids’ little fingers and toes? Their hands and feet when you turn them into personalized Farmer’s Market prints! With our free printables and a little bit of paint, your little ones can make a trio of the cutest fruit and veggie signs that fit right in with your fall decor.

See our examples below, and print your own (blank) sheets here. We’ve even included a space to add their name and the year.
